June 4th Internship Update

Three weeks into the summer internship and there is already plenty to report!

  • Continually learning the tools of the trade with student growth percentile (SGP) analyses, R package development, and the GitHub workflow.
  • Summarized results from a simulation examining the efficacy of multiple imputation methods for missing assessment and growth data.
  • With generous help, set up this GitHub based website to share results.
  • Presentation slides for the first internship update can be found here.

June 18th Internship Update

There have been numerous exciting developments over the past couple weeks!

  • Continuing with the multiple imputation analyses, summarized results from updated simulations and fit a series of generalized linear models.
  • Delved into the world of propensity score weighting to evaluate its applicability for analyzing educational assessment data.
  • Began setting up a personal GitHub-hosted website.
  • Presentation slides for the second internship update can be found here.

July 2nd Internship Update

It is hard to believe that the internship is wrapping up!

  • Designed a small-scale simulation to examine the efficacy of propensity score weighting for educational assessment data.
  • Drafted a dynamic R Markdown file to run propensity score weighting analyses within reproducible reporting systems.
  • Presentation slides for the third internship update can be found here.
